4 things meme

Harbormouth

I'm back from my trip, tired and drained, but will be writing about it shortly. Some of you, perhaps, will recognize this 16th-century fortress, erected to protect the bay in what I consider to be one of the most enigmatic and compelling cities in the Western Hemisphere, if not the world.

In the meantime, I was tagged by Lea at LeaLea Design (creator of the new Bootstrap blog header) with the 4 things meme.  My answers are pretty lame, but here goes:

Four jobs I've had:
-- Aquarium service super woman
-- Assistant vice president at a telecommunications company
-- Bank operations supervisor
-- Waitress

Four places I've been on vacation:
-- Cozumel, Mexico
-- central Panama
-- Stuttgart, Germany
-- Cuba, although not as a vacation

Four of my favorite foods:
-- Sushi
-- Lamb chops
-- Oreos
-- Plantains

Four movies I can watch over and over (although I generally don't like seeing movies more than once):
-- Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
-- The Full Monty
-- Buena Vista Social Club (if documentaries count)
-- Airplane

Four places I've lived:
Sadly, I have lived my whole life in Michigan and not even lived in four cities!

Four TV shows I love to watch fairly regularly:
-- Amazing Race
-- House
-- Hardball with Chris Matthews
-- Daily Show

Four websites I visit daily:
-- Lifehacker
-- Birding on the Net regional bird listservs
-- Bloglines, for my feeds
-- Weather Underground (snore...)

Four places I'd rather be right now:
-- south Texas
-- the Carribean, probably Cuba
-- Panama
-- in bed

Four bloggers I'm tagging with this meme:
Any four of you who are reading this that have never responded to a meme.

Glad to see 'The Full Monty' in your list of films - it was shot in my home town!

I also would like to be in South Texas. Have you seen the report of record butterfly sightings in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in December, including two different species of Clearwings?

Welcome back, Nuthatch. Can't wait to hear about your trip!

Hey welcome back Nutty! I missed you. The blogbot was somehow not a sufficient stand-in.

Ha. Airplane is one of my favorites, too.

: )

I still use the line, "It was a bad week to stop sniffing glue."
