cats that aren't mine: Seabiscuit
And now, for ye olde Friday cat blog.
I've had the pleasure the last few days of looking after my friend's cat, Seabiscuit. He and I only recently met, but get along famously. Plus, you have to love a cat named after a thoroughbred. (My friend once thought he'd gotten out, and roamed the neighborhood calling his name. A man taking out his trash asked if she'd lost her horse.) Seabiscuit is a great name, and his nickname, The Biscuit, even funnier. He loves to box, so it's fortunate he's declawed, and he has simply giant, very soft paws, which my husband decided look like Ewok hands. My slightly warped spouse then began calling poor Biscuit "Carnie," in a reverse reference to the Austin Powers quote regarding the characteristics of circus folk (The Bisuit, however, does not smell like cabbage).
