the naughty tortie and psycho cat

I live with two cats, Sophie B. Webb (the excessively affectionate tortie) and Katydid (psychologically delicate, lazy, soft, surly).   Allow me to announce them thusly:

Here goes SOPHIE B. WEBB,  most adored Lap Panther of Andover Drive.  She is the Supreme Occupier of all Laps, especially those Blanketed or convenient to a Friendly Hand.  All Laps must be made Unencumbered for SOPHIE, the Lap Panther, even when it appears She is most Comfortably Settled in another, so that She may Inhabit any Lap She so chooses on a Moment’s notice.

Here goes KATYDID, most revered Bed Leopard of Andover Drive. She is the Queen of all Beds, and also those other Soft Comfortable Places and Sunny Spots. KATYDID, the Bed Leopard, must not be Disturbed, nor Troubled, nor Afflicted as she carries out her Duties in Repose.
